Wasgij Original #48 What Happens In Vegas is a 1000 piece mystery jigsaw puzzle where you build the scene the characters are looking at, not the picture on the box.
This is the twist that has made Wasgij one of the best-selling puzzle brands in Australia and New Zealand. The box shows a crowd of characters reacting to something off-frame. Your job is to work out what they can see and assemble that scene instead, using their expressions and gestures as your only clues.
What Happens In Vegas puts that premise on the Strip, with the box crowd reacting to something happening out of shot. A drawing of the actual solution is included in the box for anyone who would rather not build blind, though most Wasgij regulars leave it sealed.
Clear roughly 90 x 70 cm of table before you tip Wasgij Original #48 - What Happens In Vegas out - that is the finished footprint of Approx. 68 x 48 cm (confirm against box) plus enough border to sort into. If the table is needed for meals, a puzzle board or roll-up mat lets you move the build without losing placed sections. In our experience most builders spread a 1000 piece puzzle over two or three sittings, so it is worth choosing a surface you can leave undisturbed.
The Approx. 68 x 48 cm (confirm against box) finished size means a standard puzzle frame in that dimension will fit without custom cutting, though it is always worth measuring the completed puzzle first rather than trusting the box figure. If you are storing it instead, keep the pieces in the original box rather than a bag - the board edges are what stop the tabs from bending.
Holdson has been publishing puzzles for the Australian and New Zealand market for decades, and their 1000 piece range is built for repeat builders: thick, cleanly punched board, minimal puzzle dust, and a firm interlock that lets you slide finished sections across the table without them coming apart. Series titles are designed to be collected as a set.
