Shipping & Delivery

 

Discount Toy Co ships to most locations across Australia (excluding some remote areas) and New Zealand.

We use trusted carriers including Australia Post, and Couriers Please, depending on your location and parcel size.

Standard Shipping

We offer flat rate (capped price) shipping to most Australian capital cities and metro areas, with rates starting from $9.95. Shipping costs vary depending on your location and will be displayed at checkout.

For regional and other eligible areas, flat rate shipping is available up to a specified weight limit (typically 3kg or 5kg, depending on your location). If your order exceeds the weight limit shown at checkout, additional shipping charges may apply.

If additional shipping costs are required, we will contact you before dispatching your order.

Express Shipping

Express Shipping is available from $16.95, with rates calculated based on your location and parcel weight. The applicable shipping cost will be displayed at checkout.

Same Day Dispatch:
Orders placed before 10:00am (AEST/AEDT) are generally dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after 10:00am will be dispatched on the next business day. If your order is urgent, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

Peak Periods:
During November and December, please allow 1–2 business days for dispatch. While we cannot guarantee same-day dispatch during these busy periods, Express orders will be prioritised.

Important Information:

  • Express Shipping is a faster postal service but is not a guaranteed overnight delivery service.
  • Delivery timeframes are determined by the carrier and may be affected by factors outside our control.
  • Discount Toy Co is not responsible for carrier delays and Express Shipping charges will not be refunded where delays occur after dispatch.
  • If we are unable to dispatch your order within the expected timeframe, we will contact you as soon as possible.
  • If you no longer require your order due to a delayed delivery or any reason other than a faulty product, return postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days
  • Delivery times vary depending on your chosen delivery service and location. All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Sydney.
  • Tracking information, which provides a delivery estimate, will be emailed once your order has been shipped

Lost or Damaged Parcels

While we take great care in packing every order, parcels can occasionally be lost, stolen or damaged while in transit.

For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing Parcel Protection at checkout. This low-cost option provides coverage for parcels that are lost or damaged during transit.

If Parcel Protection is not selected, Discount Toy Co cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are lost, stolen or damaged after they have been handed to the carrier.

For just a small additional cost, Parcel Protection helps ensure that your order is covered should something unexpected happen during delivery.

Incorrect Addresses & Uncollected Parcels

To help ensure your order arrives without delay, please double-check your delivery address before completing your purchase.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, or if a parcel is not collected from the courier's nominated collection point within the required timeframe and is returned to us, a $14.95 return-to-sender fee will apply. This fee is charged by the carrier and will be deducted from any refund or payable before the order can be re-sent.

If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before your order is dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, address changes cannot be guaranteed and carrier redirection fees may also apply.

Please keep an eye on your tracking information and follow any collection or redelivery instructions provided by the carrier. Uncollected parcels that are returned to us will be subject to the return-to-sender fee above.
