NDIS Orders
Discount Toy Co. welcomes orders funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
As every NDIS plan is different, it is the responsibility of the participant, nominee, support coordinator, or plan manager to ensure that any products purchased are eligible for funding under the participant's NDIS plan.
Before You Order
Recent changes to NDIS legislation mean that NDIS funding can only be used for approved supports that are considered reasonable and necessary.
Before placing your order, we recommend considering the following:
- Is this item required because of the participant's disability?
- Does it relate to the goals and supports outlined in the participant's NDIS plan?
- Will it assist the participant to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence?
- Is the purchase within the participant's available NDIS funding budget?
- Is the item safe and appropriate for its intended use?
If you are unsure whether a product is claimable through your NDIS funding, we recommend speaking with your Plan Manager, Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator (LAC), or the NDIS directly before placing your order.
Self-Managed NDIS Participants
If you are self-managed, you may simply place your order online and pay at checkout using your preferred payment method.
A tax invoice will be emailed to you, which you can then submit directly to the NDIS for reimbursement if applicable.
Plan-Managed NDIS Participants
If your NDIS funding is managed by a Plan Manager, please follow the steps below:
How to Place Your Order

Add your items to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Select Bank Deposit as your payment method.

Complete your order and submit it.

You will receive an order confirmation email.

Reply to the order confirmation email requesting a Tax Invoice for NDIS funding.

We will email your Tax Invoice to you.

Forward the Tax Invoice to your Plan Manager for payment.

Once payment has been received, your order will be packed and dispatched.
Please note that orders cannot be dispatched until payment has been received from your Plan Manager.
Important Information
- All products remain the property of Discount Toy Co. until payment has been received in full.
- Orders will be processed and dispatched once payment has cleared.
- We are unable to determine whether a product will be approved under your individual NDIS plan.
- It is the customer's responsibility to confirm funding eligibility prior to purchase.
- Standard shipping charges apply unless otherwise stated.
Returns & Refunds for NDIS Orders
NDIS-funded purchases are subject to our standard Returns & Refunds Policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Where an item purchased using NDIS funding is returned under an approved change-of-mind return, any refund will be issued only to the original payer. Where payment was made by a Plan Manager or other third-party funding source, any refund will be returned to that same funding source where possible.
NDIS-funded purchases cannot be exchanged for alternative products that were not included on the original invoice or funding approval without prior approval from the participant's Plan Manager or funding source.
Discount Toy Co. reserves the right to request evidence of funding approval before processing exchanges or refunds relating to NDIS-funded purchases.
Refunds, store credits, or exchanges will not be provided where doing so would result in NDIS funding being used for products that were not originally approved or funded under the participant's plan.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Please Note: Discount Toy Co. is not a registered NDIS provider. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants may purchase eligible products from our store and seek reimbursement or funding approval through their NDIS plan where applicable. It is the responsibility of the participant, nominee, support coordinator, or plan manager to determine whether a product is eligible for funding under the participant's individual NDIS plan.
Discount Toy Co. cannot provide advice regarding NDIS eligibility, funding availability, or whether a particular item will be approved under a participant's plan.
