Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes things don't work out as expected, or that you (or your little ones!) may simply change your mind.
We offer a 30 Day Change of Mind Return Policy. If you wish to return an item, please ensure it is returned to us within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a Change of Mind refund, items must be:
- Unused and unopened
- In their original packaging
- In brand new, resalable condition
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if items have been opened, assembled, used, damaged, or are not in a condition suitable for resale.
Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s) only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Packaging Requirements
Items must be packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
Please do not attach postage labels, tape, or write directly on the product packaging. Any item returned with postage labels or tape attached directly to the product packaging may be refused and returned to sender.
- Discount Toy Co reserves the right to refuse a refund where items are returned damaged due to inadequate packaging.
Refund Processing
Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds are generally processed within 3–5 business days. Please allow additional time during peak periods.
Christmas Gift Returns
To make Christmas shopping easier, items purchased between 1 November and 24 December may be returned until 31 January under our Change of Mind Returns Policy.
To be eligible for a Christmas Gift Return, items must:
- Be unused, unopened and in brand new condition
- Be returned in their original packaging
- Include proof of purchase
- Meet all other Change of Mind Return requirements outlined in this policy
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the purchase price of the item(s) only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable and return postage costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Items excluded from Change of Mind Returns, including gift cards, clearance items marked as Final Sale, trading cards, mystery products and special-order items, are also excluded from Christmas Gift Returns.
Non-Returnable Items
The following products are not eligible for Change of Mind returns:
- Gift cards
- Clearance items marked as Final Sale
- Special order products
- Pre-order products once dispatched
- Trading cards and collectible card products where packaging has been opened
- Blind bags, mystery packs, surprise toys or similar products where packaging has been opened
- Products that have been assembled, used or altered
- Products with missing parts, damaged packaging or missing accessories caused after delivery
These exclusions do not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact our Customer Service team within 7 days of receiving your order.
Where applicable, we will arrange for the item to be repaired, replaced or refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
How to Lodge a Claim
Please email mail@discounttoyco.com.au and provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- Description of the fault or damage
- Clear photographs showing the issue
In some cases, videos may also be requested to assist with the assessment process.
Please note that no replacement, repair or refund will be approved until sufficient evidence of the fault or damage has been provided and assessed.
Failure to provide requested photographs, videos or other supporting information may result in delays or the claim being declined.
Assessment Process
Depending on the manufacturer and nature of the issue, products may need to be returned for inspection before a replacement, repair or refund can be approved.
Returned products are generally assessed within 3–5 business days of receipt.
Product Packaging
This policy applies to faults or damage affecting the product itself.
Minor cosmetic damage to external packaging, which does not affect the product's functionality, presentation or suitability for use, is not considered a product fault.
Missing Parts
If your product is missing a component, accessory or part, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where practical, we may first attempt to source and supply the missing component from the manufacturer before offering a replacement or refund.
Incorrect Items Received
In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect item, or an item that is substantially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Once verified, we will arrange either:
- Shipment of the correct item (subject to availability); or
- A full refund
Where an incorrect item has been supplied, Discount Toy Co will cover the reasonable cost of return postage.
Pre-Order Cancellations & Returns
Pre-order cancellations requested prior to dispatch may be approved at our discretion.
Once a pre-order item has been dispatched, our standard Returns & Refunds Policy applies.
Estimated arrival dates for pre-order products are provided by suppliers and may change without notice.
Click & Collect Returns
Items collected via Click & Collect are covered by this Returns & Refunds Policy in the same way as shipped orders.
The 30-day return period commences from the date the order is collected.
Returned-to-Sender Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to:
- An incorrect or incomplete delivery address
- Failure to collect the parcel from the courier's nominated collection point
- Refusal of delivery
- Any circumstance outside of Discount Toy Co's control
Any return-to-sender charges, redirection fees or other carrier fees incurred by Discount Toy Co may be deducted from any refund issued.
Where a refund is requested, the refund amount may be reduced by:
- Original shipping charges
- Return-to-sender fees
- Redirection fees
- Applicable restocking fees
The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
