Tea Parties and Social Skills

Tea party play is a gentle way to practise social skills. Children learn to take turns pouring, offer drinks to guests and use polite language. Setting the table and matching cups to saucers builds fine motor and organising skills. It is a lovely shared activity for siblings, friends and grandparents.

Perfect For

The Birdie Tea Set makes a great birthday or Christmas gift and an easy way to refresh an existing play kitchen. It suits children who love cooking, café games and helping in the real kitchen. Combine it with other play food, kitchen and shop sets to build a complete pretend play corner where siblings and friends can cook, serve and shop together.

About Tender Leaf Toys

Tender Leaf Toys designs its wooden toys in the UK and makes them from rubberwood harvested from trees that have reached the end of their latex-producing life. The result is a range with a soft, illustrated look and a sturdy build that suits busy playrooms and hand-me-down families.

Safety & Care

Made from wood with child-safe finishes. Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth; do not soak or wash in the dishwasher. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colours, and check the packaging for the recommended age grading.
