Schleich Horse Club - Emily's Care Set 42797

Emily's Care Set (42797) is a Schleich Horse Club playset focused on horse care rather than competition, bringing together a rider figure, her horse and the grooming and feeding equipment that fills the hours around riding.

The part of horse ownership that actually takes the time

Anyone who has spent time at a stable knows the riding is the short part. Mucking out, grooming, feeding, checking hooves — that is the daily reality, and this set is built around it.

That focus gives children a different kind of play. Instead of a competition with a winner, it is a routine with a rhythm, which tends to sustain longer, quieter sessions.

What's included and how it plays

• Horse Club care playset (item 42797) with hand-painted horse and rider figures
• Includes grooming, feeding and stable care accessories
• Compatible with other Schleich Horse Club stables, paddocks and figures
• Sturdy plastic construction with no batteries or assembly required
• Designed for children from around 5 years

Quiet play with something in it

Care-based play does useful work — it rehearses responsibility, sequencing and looking after something that depends on you. None of that is presented as a lesson; it is simply what the toy is about.

It also pairs naturally with the larger Horse Club stables, where the care equipment finally has somewhere to be stored.

What to pair it with

Care equipment needs somewhere to be stored, so this set works best alongside a Horse Club stable or paddock. On its own it still plays well, but it becomes part of a routine once there is a building to attach it to.

Wipe all pieces clean with a damp cloth and keep the small accessories together.
