Monchhichi Fluffy Koala Plush Doll

This Monchhichi fluffy koala plush toy dresses the iconic Japanese character as one of Australia's best-loved animals. Sitting snugly in an extra-fluffy koala costume, Monchhichi peeks out with its freckled face and thumb-sucking pose, creating a cuddly crossover that is hard to resist.

The seated design sits neatly on a shelf, desk or bed, and the fluffy texture makes it one of the softest-feeling styles in the Monchhichi animal range.

An Aussie Twist on a Japanese Icon

Monchhichi has been dressed in hundreds of outfits since Sekiguchi created the character in 1974, but the koala holds a special appeal for Australian fans. Under the costume, it has the authentic Monchhichi features: a soft plush body, a moulded vinyl face and hands, rosy cheeks and a thumb that fits into its mouth.

Caring for Fluffy Plush

The extra-fluffy fur is part of the charm, so brush it gently with a soft brush to keep it full and lifted. Spot clean the vinyl face with a damp cloth, avoid machine washing, and keep it away from heaters. A little care keeps the koala looking cloud-soft and ready for cuddles, naps and long car trips.
