Melissa & Doug - Sort, Stock, Select Wooden Vending Machine Play Set

Stock the shelves, choose a snack and watch it drop with the Melissa & Doug Sort, Stock, Select Wooden Vending Machine Play Set. This interactive 19-piece pretend play set lets children run their own snack vending machine, complete with play food, drinks, coins and a bank card.

Open the back of the wooden vending machine to stock the compartments with colourful pretend snacks and drinks. Choose an item, insert a play coin or bank card, then press the corresponding letter and number buttons to release the selected product into the collection drawer below.

Stock, Select and Collect

The vending machine features three rows of compartments, labelled A, B and C, with numbered selections from 1 to 3. Children can organise the pretend food, practise matching each product to its location and make their selections using the coloured buttons.

The set includes nine double-sided play food packages, providing different designs to display when restocking the machine. The reusable activity card can be used as a stocking checklist and to help choose which sides of the packages to display.

Interactive Pretend Play Without Batteries

The vending machine uses a mechanical dispensing system, so no batteries are required. Children can insert their play payment, press the selection buttons and watch their chosen snack drop into the collection drawer.

This hands-on activity encourages imaginative play while providing opportunities to practise sorting, matching, counting, letter and number recognition, and fine motor skills.
