Janod - Wooden Doll Bed with Blanket & Pillow - Zen Range

The Janod Zen Bed is a wooden doll bed made for the serious business of putting baby to sleep. It comes complete with a soft blanket and pillow carrying a sweet rabbit print, and fits baby dolls up to 42cm. Part of the Janod Zen role play range, for children aged 3 and over.

Nurturing play, taken seriously

Tucking a doll in is not a small thing. Children rehearse care the way they see it modelled - smoothing the blanket, adjusting the pillow, whispering that it is time to sleep now. It is how they process their own bedtime routine, and it is particularly valuable for a child adjusting to a new sibling.

Boys and girls take to it equally, and the Zen range is deliberately designed to appeal across the board - clean lines, soft neutral tones and a gentle rabbit motif rather than anything gendered or garish.

Part of a world, not a one-off

The Zen range is built to be collected. Add the matching pram and high chair and a child has a complete daily routine to play through - feeding, walking, napping - which extends the play far beyond what any single piece manages on its own. It also makes gift-giving straightforward for birthdays that follow.

Built to last through more than one child

This is FSC certified wood rather than moulded plastic, which means it takes the weight of an enthusiastic three-year-old sitting on it and still looks presentable at the end. The bedding is removable and washable. Toys in this category are frequently handed down, and this one is made accordingly.

A doll bed is one of those gifts that looks simple and then becomes the centre of a child's play for a year. Pair it with a soft baby doll for a complete present.
