Djeco - Inspired By Vassily Kandinsky - Abstract

Be inspired by one of the greats while learning new artistic skills. This set designed by Philip Giordano is a sand art set that invites children to discover the style of Vassily Kandinsky, the great master of abstract art. Children place the painting in the box then they reveal the pre-pasted areas using the tool provided. Following the colours indicated they then sprinkle the sand. The free forms then seem to play with our emotions.

Vassily Kandinsky (16 December 1866 – 13 December 1944) was one of the pioneers of abstract modern art well-known for incorporating geometric shapes and vibrant colours into his work.

Contents: 4 illustrated cards (20 x 20 cm), 12 pots of coloured sand, 1 plastic tool, and a step-by-step colour booklet.
