Djeco Fashion by Magali - No-Sew Design Workshop, Ages 7+

The step up from paper dolls

Paper fashion kits are flat and disposable. This one gives a child printed cottons, textured fabrics, ribbons, braids and beads — the actual materials of dressmaking — and a proper pattern to work from. The double-sided tape replaces stitching entirely, so a seven-year-old produces a three-dimensional garment on their first attempt rather than abandoning a needle in frustration.

Learning the actual process
