The LEGO Technic Ferrari 488 Pista Car (42235) is an 882-piece model in classic Ferrari red, built for ages 9 and up. It is the larger of the two mid-size Technic sports cars released in August 2026, and carries more racing detail across the bodywork than its stablemate. Like the Dodge Viper GTS-R, it ships with a Forza Horizon 6 livery unlock code.

Steering and drivetrain

The car uses hand-of-god steering, meaning a knob on the roof turns the front wheels directly. It is a simple mechanism, but it makes the steering geometry visible in a way a hidden rack would not.

A replica engine sits behind the cabin, in keeping with the mid-engine layout of the real 488 Pista.
