The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Tails' Tornado-1 (77119) is a 310-piece playset for ages 8 and up, built around Tails' red and yellow biplane. It arrived as one of two LEGO Sonic sets in August 2026, and is the more affordable of the pair. Alongside the aircraft, it includes a small floating island, a Chaos Emerald to fight over, and two characters.

What the biplane does

The Tornado-1's wings move into different positions, letting the plane be posed level for cruising or angled for a dive. Two seats are built into the fuselage, so Tails can be placed in the front or the back.

A turning stud shooter is mounted on the aircraft for taking on the Badnik, and it rotates rather than firing in a fixed direction.

Build and play balance
