Change Of Mind Returns 

At Discount Toy Co. we understand that sometimes things don't turn out as you expected, or that you (or your kids)  can change your mind. With us you can shop with peace of mind, knowing that anything you purchase from our store can be returned to us for a refund.

To return an item:

1. Send an email to mail@discounttoyco.com.au, quoting your order number, as well as the item/s you wish to return, within 14 days of receiving your order.

2. Our Customer Service Team will then issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number via email, normally within 1 business day.

3. Post the item/s back to us, along with your name, the order number and the RA number for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping charges). A small restocking fee may apply for items in excess of 2kg. We will notify you of the restocking fee if it is applicable to you.

4. We will issue a refund within 7 business days of receiving your returned items.

5. If a parcel is "returned to sender" the buyer will be liable for the $10.95 fee charged to Discount Toy Co by Australia Post. 

6. If a parcel is returned to Discount Toy Co under any circumstance including late arrival of a parcel, then the buyer is liable for the return postage costs as well as a restocking fee which is dependant on the size of your order. Discount Toy Co will refund the buyer the initial sale value less the return shipping fees (if applicable), restocking fee and original postage costs.

Please note:

  • The item/s must be received by us in its original packaging; unused, unopened and in 'as new' condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if any of the items returned have been opened or are not in resellable condition.
  • The return postage will be at the expense of the buyer.


PayPal free returns

If you pay for your order using PayPal, you may be eligible for refunded returns through PayPal.  Simply return your item following the instructions above, complete the request form and upload your shipping receipt on the PayPal website within 14 days of your return, and PayPal will refund you the cost of your return shipping.  For full terms and conditions, please visit the PayPal website.

Please note:

Damaged or Faulty Items 

All items in our store come with a warranty, either from the manufacturer or their Australian distributor. If your item arrives to you faulty or damaged, please contact our Customer Service within 7 days and we will organise to have the item assessed. Once the item has been declared faulty or damaged by the manufacturer we will arrange for the item to be repaired or replaced, or where this is not  possible, issue you with a refund of the purchase price. Please note that the damaged or faulty item must first be returned BEFORE the new item is sent out or the purchase price refunded to you.

For warranty claims:

1. Send an email to mail@discounttoyco.com.au, providing your name, the order number and a detailed description of the fault or damage.

2. Our customer service team will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number, and provide you with details on how and where to send the product back.

3. Once the item has been assessed, we will send you the replacement, or issue a refund.

Please note this Damaged or Faulty items returns policy applies only if the product itself is damaged, and does not apply to damaged packaging. 

This warranty does not apply if the item has been used in a manner other than its intended purpose, or if the product appears to be damaged through negligence or rough play.

Discount Toy Co does not accept any liability for any loss arising from the purchase or use of the product.
