Corolle - Bebe Calin Capucine Mon Premier 30cm Soft Body Baby Doll

Bebe Calin Capucine is a 30cm baby doll with a soft, weighted body and a vanilla-scented vinyl face — the combination that has made the Bebe Calin line Corolle's most-bought first doll. She is designed to be carried, rocked and put to bed by a child from 18 months.

Built for the way toddlers actually play

Capucine's limbs and head are soft vinyl; everything in between is fabric with a light filling. She slumps, curls and settles like a small baby instead of holding a stiff plastic pose, so a child can cradle her one-handed while doing something else entirely.

Her sleeping eyes open and close with her position. Laying her down to sleep becomes a real action with a visible result, which is what keeps toddlers repeating a routine for weeks on end.

What makes it a good first doll

• Light enough at 30cm to be carried around the house all day
• No batteries, sounds or screens — the play comes entirely from the child
• Same scale as the Mon Premier Poupon 12in wardrobe, bottles, strollers and carriers
• A calm, realistic face rather than an exaggerated cartoon one
